Helloo Local is a platform that connects local home-based sellers with nearby customers, facilitating direct peer-to-peer transactions within local communities.

Platform Description

What Helloo Local Provides

Important: We Are a Platform Only

Helloo Local serves as an intermediary platform connecting buyers and sellers. We do not handle transactions, payments, or shipping. All sales are direct between users, similar to classified ad platforms.

User Accounts and Eligibility

Account Requirements

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use our Service
  • You must provide accurate and complete information
  • You are responsible for maintaining account security
  • One person may not maintain multiple accounts

For Sellers

  • You must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws
  • You are responsible for obtaining any required licenses or permits
  • You must accurately represent your products and services
  • You must fulfill orders as promised to customers

User Responsibilities

For Sellers

  • Provide accurate product descriptions and photos
  • Honor pricing and availability information
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries
  • Maintain professional conduct
  • Comply with food safety and other regulations

For Buyers

  • Communicate respectfully with sellers
  • Honor purchase commitments
  • Arrange pickup/delivery as agreed
  • Report issues through proper channels
  • Provide honest reviews and feedback

Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

Content & Conduct

  • Posting illegal, harmful, or offensive content
  • Harassment or discrimination of any kind
  • Spam or unsolicited communications
  • False or misleading information

Platform Misuse

  • Attempting to bypass security measures
  • Reverse engineering or unauthorized access
  • Creating fake accounts or identities
  • Interfering with other users' experience

Transactions and Payments

Direct User Transactions

All transactions occur directly between buyers and sellers. Helloo Local does not process payments, handle refunds, or mediate transaction disputes.

Transaction Guidelines

  • Most transactions are cash-based for pickup orders
  • Sellers may accept other payment methods at their discretion
  • Users must handle their own payment processing and tax obligations
  • Helloo Local is not responsible for payment disputes or failed transactions
  • Users should verify payment before completing exchanges

Content and Intellectual Property

  • You retain ownership of content you post on our platform
  • You grant us license to display and distribute your content on our Service
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to all content you post
  • You must not infringe on others' intellectual property rights

Account Termination

  • Illegal activities or harmful conduct
  • Fraudulent or deceptive behavior
  • Inactive accounts (after extended periods)

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the states where our services operate (primarily United States and India).

Dispute Resolution

For disputes related to the platform itself, we encourage users to first contact our support team. For transaction disputes between users, we recommend direct communication and local mediation services.
